hey,
i have seen a 2x2 enclosure with 2 heat globes, thermostat, a u.v tube everything icluded etc(complete setup)
with a pure diamond hatchy(with yellow rosettes) for sale in a pet shop for $750, is this a good deal?

in a pet shop near me in brissy they have stimies, spoteds and childrens, they are all around $350-$400 for a hatchy or $550 i think for a 2 year old spotted.
Ye that dose sound a bit exy, try avoiding pet shops they rip u off bad

2x2 won't last a diamond real long anyway...
Also, consider that high yellow Diamonds sell for roughly $450 - that makes your enclosure $300 minimum...a bit pricey for 2x2...

yeh, the diamonds sell by themselves for 450, and the enclosure is worth 380.
so thats 830, but its on special.

oi if you like the diamond ( i susspect you do  ) then I think its a good deal and yes the enclosure wont last but until you need to upgrade you have time to set up a new one  ... Just make sure you really check it over because its still a pet shop ....

personally i would never ever walk into a pet shop and buy a reptile from them. majority have no idea on what they are doing. i have been into quite a few to purchase reptile supplies, and i pitty the poor snakes and lizards that are being cared for incorrectely.
