It's definitely a Green Tree Snake. My guess is it's from Central QLD.

jonno, that form can come from any where along the east coast, seen them the same form from s/e qld to carins

I agree, and Central Queensland has a rainbow of colours as well, not just the darkies

Looks like a hybrid Green x Brown. Just my opinion though. Just my 2 cents worth. Hope this helps.

i think its the elusive yellow bellied black snake! (lol) Maybe the reason so many people konk them on the head.

photo was taken at work in ross just south of townsville. asked the qld uni and they said green tree but thought i would ask the true experts
