what does everyone else do with their skins? maybe the novelty has worn off owners of multiple snakes but i have kept all my girls sheds.is their anyway to preserve or tan them? or anywher i could send them[as they get bigger of course] to be done?

I have kept all the skins, but i do it for sexual reasons, ok not really
I do it for growth reasons. and check what the growth is between species and sexes, its a long term study i know.

Oh and the tanning, i am sure there are plenty but i got no idea on that, i just roll mine up and put them in sealable bags, write the date and length on it, and name of the snake of course

yeah we keep them for a while then throw them out. Kali why not just note down the length etc then throw them out? Sorry just a thought lol. dont mind me

Stick them between sheets of contact. they would be far too fragile to tan, but that would preserve them.

You cannot tan them, that is for when you remove the whole skin from an animal, all a shed is is one layer of scales.
