I would like to know if that is common thing. I cooled mine snakes first time this winter and 2 of them have milky eye just now. Temperature is 15C Diamonds and 18C olives. I am about to start slowly warming process.
Wander why they are sheading as they did not eat for past 2 months.

I wouldn't be too worried, 'cos although their motabolism is right down, they are still (very slowly) growing, and do need to slough. Easy to say that they would have shed a long time a go if they were not cooled, but their bodies are still functioning.
Mine did shed during cooling and went milkty again during this time until I turned the heat back up. Mine are still young and growing at a quick rate.

Have talked to a few people about this recently. Apparently most snakes will either shed during the cooling period or shed immediately afterward. This is just what they do. I was quite surprised when my male water python shed during cooling, but of the 6 pythons that I cooled, 5 shed either during or straight after cooling.
