Well done guys May I ask what state you both live in, in order to achieve such low night time temps? I'm struggling to get below 19 deg here in Sydney.

I'm in Port Stephens, my cages aren't getting that cold yet, probably down around 18-19c atm.

Hooray Steve! I'm giving my girls a year off so I'll just have to get excited about everyone else's projects

I'm so jealous!
Hopefully next season we'll be able to breed Hermione....we want to have at least two breedable pairs before we move to NSW, would have liked to have started this year by buying a grown pair, but its gotten a bit late quickly!
Good luck everyone- can't wait to see all the new babies...especially the BHP's!

Put my Macs together last night when I got home. Early this morning, just leaving for work, I saw they had got their tails over.

Put my male in with the female last night. I didn't see mating cause I went to bed, he was giving her a lot of attention so hopefully I'm on track as well soon.
BHPs I am leaving another week yet as the females ate not too long ago, I have not fed the male for about three weeks so as to not have him feeling lazy. Hopefully the BHPs will go breed this year maybe not. Waiting to see is the hard part.

I've got childrens going ATM and bredli hopefully later on, I'm getting the bredli's suprisingly low already near the 13C mark... and i'm in darwin, so Kudos to me LOL
I'm interested to know if people drop the females temps as low as the male? I just can't get my females cage temps as low as the males. Has anyone kept the femals temps up and had succesful breeding? WIth anyspecies apart from childrens?
