Just thought I would post some pictures of my collection, since when I try to act like the proud parent at work and show off my little babies alot of my colleages recoil in horror. I have also been asked if I was dropped at birth because of my love of reptiles lol. So I might as well show them off to people that actually appreciate the beauty of an awesome animal.
I'm also interested on some feed back on my Jungles, because they are still Juvies they still have'nt developed that striking gold colour yet, my husband is concerned that all the pictures we've seen on the internet of adult Jungles have been altered some way to make them appear more yellow. So any feed back from owners that have had young Jungles and have raised them into adult hood would be much appreciated. I'll stop gas bagging now and show you the pics:
1st - Lucifer: our Coastal Proserpine 3 1/2 yr male
2nd - Salam: our Jungle juv male
3rd - Voodoo: our Jungle juv female
4th - Cleopatra: our Jungle juv Female

Thanks Jessop, Salem would have to be the more stunning out of the three Jungles, unfortunately he is one of the fiesty ones. Cleopatra has nice unique head pattern, kind of like a broken X bone at the bottom, here's a better view of Cleopatra's (4th pic of original post) head pattern:

Oh my.. those jungles are incredible!!! The poor spotted (if you choose to get one) might feel so inferior... hehe.. but the spotted will have personality that will out rival even the smartest of snakes...

lol, I don't doubt that for a second Slim. I'm starting to learn that these guys (pythons) seem to have different personalities, but only other reptile owners would understand, if you know what I mean! Thanks for the commpliment on Jungles, I'm sure that they will be thrilled to know that! he he he

Trust me they are Bredli, I find the first thing most people ask is "do they bite?" !!!!!!
Why do people ask that!!?? Dogs bite, Cats bite, Birds bite, Fish bite, hell... Children bite!!!!
But when you tell someone that you have a two yr old child is the first thing they ask "Do they bite?" No I dont think so!!! In my household I have (get your calculators out) -
3 Cats
2 Dogs
1 Cockatiel
4 Pythons
3 Fish
and any rats or mice that are stupid enough to hang around are very nervous!! lol
Now I have been bitten by all of those animals, except the pythons (and fish) until recently when I bought the Juvies (nervous little guys). But no one ever asks me if the Cats bite. We need to educate the people of Australia.

Thanks JunglePython2, I think they're about 8months, we plan to breed both Cleopatra and Voodoo with Salem in a couple of years. Voodoo is alot smaller then the other two, so I would assume she's a bit younger. We got all 3 Jungles from Ultimate Reptile Suppliers in Adelaide, but they also sell they're live stock to interstate buyers, here's the web address if your interested in having a look: www.ultimatereptiles.com.au
another good place is Reptile City, we bought our Coastal from there, their web site is: www.reptilecity.com.au |

But when you tell someone that you have a two yr old child is the first thing they ask "Do they bite?" No I dont think so!!! | What an interesting concept... Noted:
I have been bitten by:
A horse (Clydesdale)
A Cat (several moggies)
A dog (several canine imprints)
A rat
A rabbit (I must have carrot like fingers)
A guinea pig (thought my finger wasa a peanut)
A goose
A ring necked parrot thing named CD... I think it was seedy....
Several other species of birds including plover and those yucky ground dwelling stilty things
More dogs
More cats
A turtle (not a snapping one either)
My gold fish (on my nose too when I put my head in their tank)
A small shark (while trying to remove a hook from its mouth the ungrateful sod)
A sheep
A goat
My daughter
Someone elses daughter
My girlfriend
Someone elses girlfriend
Oh the list goes on...
but sorry, I have to add... Peyote's sister - so I add.. Python!
Any point ot this thread? Nah ah.... Just to realise I never once asked if any of the aforementioned bites.. but ironically... I asked if Peyote does... hehe

Dude! - From the look of that list I think that might be something to do with you, as opposed to the animals being 'bitey'
The last two sound interesting thou...lol
As far as altering the pics to make them more yellow, I would say that the majority of people don't do it, but hey it certainly is possible....and I know how easy it is too!
