I wouldn't want one either!

| Yeah, I agree. Like you, I'm not completely against crossing, as long as there's no rubbish about what the babies are. |

But if you tried to import a cross and declared it as such, you would almost certainly be knocked back. If you brought it in as a jungle or a diamond and if it was detected you could be guilty of any number of offenses.
And to complicate matters they may or may not reconize the animals as seperate sub-species, I would play it safe and stear clear of the animals. |

I think there is far to much weight put on this topic especially when you consider the fact that Hybrids do occur naturally where species overlap. I think it strange still as I have stated many times when discussing this subject that herps are about the only animal species where it is frowned on so much. If you look at canines and felines and birds, in fact all animal species crosses or Hybrids are often more valuable then the pure trains.... Hmm interesting. Maybe someone can tell me why this is so? I would like to know what the authorities were thinking when making these laws? I mean after all the snakes obviously don't care just as long as they are getting some? (if you know what I mean lol) |

| | | | Actually, cross breeding in the wild is NATURAL they are called intergrades! |

ps. Diamonds and jungles are so geographically distinct that the chnaces of mating in te wild are nil. Now take this down to a smaller geographical level. There are geographic barriers that restrict theintergration of distinct species and subspecies. In some case there is a buffer where animals that resemble both occur. These did not occur because a carpet went to the pub down the road on Friday night and got lucky with a diamond on holidays from Gosford. The intergrade in question is the offspring of a pair of intergarades who are the offspring of a pair of intergrades who are the offspring of a pair of intergrades............. are you starting to get the picture. There will of course always be exceptions.
