No it's not, check that he hasn't retained hie eye caps. If he has find someone who has some experience in this to help you remove them.

so has he shed yet if he hasn't then no nothing abnormal as some of my snakes keep there blue eyes untill the skin comes off

if he has shed and still has blue eyes then yes thats abit out of the ordinary but dont stress as yet he maybe just retained his eye caps (which need to be removed so much fun with jungles lol) he may also be going into shed again its doesn't happen too often but i have had a few of my pythons double shed it depends on alot of things but would definatly be keeping an eye on it to be safe

It varies from snake to snake, I know that my atherton yearling takes a week of cloudy followed by another week of clear before shedding. Which is ages compared to my tully hatchling who takes only 2 - 3 days cloudy and then about the same clear before shedding.

Don't be too worried until he has shed, I'm sure it will go well.

Also to assist you can put the water bowl over/near the heat to up the humidity.
