Wow I've never seen a snake eating in that position! Must be a bit awkward!
They're both gorgeous, I love the bright yellow.

Nice looking snakes, and good photos, but do you think it is wise to feedthem in the same enclosure?

They have been together since hatchies and fed together as well. I think my posting of the photos should be your question answered. If your careful enough it is not a problem. Personally I enjoy every feed time. I can sit and watch for hours. Just enjoy the photos posted.

are you guys serious about never having seen a snake eat while hanging??

Most of mine will ONLY eat hanging, they make a damn mess of it if they are fed somewhere flat...

Very common feeding position given the opportunity - gravity assists in swallowing when the rat is hanging down into the mouth...

In the wild they might hang in the one spot for days waiting for a meal. Mine hang when they are hungry.

yeah my jungle eats like that too. she was snappy to start with but now i can handle her and she hasn't tagged me in ages. she's still nervous and i have to be really slow or she freaks out. its getting her out of her enclosure thats the problem, have to use a hook and gently coax her out cos she hangs onto the vines. she's going to shed any day so i'll try post some pics after, she's a gorgeous girl!! got great colour already and she's only bout 5 months old. :-)
