i only realised today that he managed to get my knee with his bottom jaw, as my hand was resting on my knee with my legs crossed sitting on the floor outside the enclosure (lol if that makes sense)... had jeans on but i have cuts on my knee where his teeth went through the jeans.

hmmm if you call that "smashed" you're in for one heck of a surprise when they really go you hehehehe
mine is only little still, at about 2 metres, and she hurts like a bitch when she's serious..
and there's still a LOT of dried blood across her cage from the last time lol

ahh gotta love the love bites

Looks like it's getting better Another couple of days and you'll never even know you've been bitten.

yep i was actually surprised at how much it bruised, i don't usually bruise very easily. but then there is a lot of force behind their strikes i guess.

Me too...

I feel your pain, I was bitten a couple of months back now by my carpet python, she would'nt let go either, had to use the spray bottle on her!! Got 32 perfect puncture marks on my hand, if i'd thought about it quicker I would've had ink put in 'em ... I still say the tetnus shot hurt more though!!!

i did say 6-foot coastal in the subject line, not massive scrubby... if you're expecting to see a missing digit or limb from a coastal that size, i wouldn't like to meet your snake

sure, come meet Red and Moo, and play with the rats before hand haha then you'll see a bite >
when you stop bleeding.. *cough* hahah
mind you, somehow.. and this is going to sound weird.. Moo lets go when I tell her too.. even in a feeding frenzy..
Barry saw it personally, he was totally stunned! yep, a semi trained snake
