Diamond carpets slowly change to 'Brisbane' carpets over hundreds of km's as you go south to north, this one looks more diamond than Brisbane, but more Brisbane than a 'typical' diamond carpet from Sydney.

in that case it's not likely to be an intergrade, unless an escapee was involved

Diamonds seem to stay fairly active through winter.

he couldn't get him in the whole pic cause he was so big!

when it warms up, his place just in his backyard is the best spot to herping......just wait till you hit the bush!

Looks typical of Diamonds found around Port Stephens to Taree. Not quite a intergrade yet. Just a northern range Diamond.

Its nice that your uncle leaves them alone to go on their way and do their thing. Does he see many?

yeah he see's them all the time....but now he takes pics for me

he had a large python wrapped around his banister once....couldn't tell me what it was....but he just walked up and untwined it from there and put it outside....just incase it wanted to snack on a new born...

bu i have seen many time them in the trees, from a distence
either way it so cool!!!

oh and he has possums who live on the deck too
