Hi all,
A question which is open to opinions. At what age does the growth rate for coastals slow down. I have read they never stop growing but continue at a much slower rate. When does this much slower rate usually commence. I know my male put on about 75 cm from his 12-24 month period, which basically doubled his size. He is now 30 months old and his growth rate has slowed down to about 5cm a month, maybe less now that it is cooler. is there a growth rate per month/year for an adult 3 year old coastal, or a 6 year old etc assuming that they are not over fed but definately not under fed? many variables, food, heat, cooling or not, reproduction for fem etc these things i relise but does anyone have experience or records of growth rates?
Cheers, Davo
