Well I would assume that the normal everyday pet stores would be overly priced,while the big named places that specialise in Herps would only mark up there animals slightly.I havn't been to Melb in years so I cant give any shops names as I dont know any sorry...

Yeah we just got back from Melbourne but are going there again soon.Last trip we didnt get to see all the shops as they are scattered all over the city and we were just there for the day.
The only reason I asked you was that you said that most shops are charging between 2 or 3 times more than buying from a breeder so I assumed you had first hand knowledge of this.
