laying eggs?

G'day,
what dose everyone do when its time for there snakes to lay eggs? do you provide them with a laying box or just leave your enclosure setup the way it is? ive just got marine carpet as flooring and a cardboard box for a hide.

I put a laying box in 10-14 days after the prelay slough. I use a plastic container of some description with damp sphagnum moss inside.
