Brettix - Certainly not having a go at you, but just letting you know that you may need to double check those temps and/or the snakes access to them. As snakes thermoregulate by choosing external temperatures suitable it would suggest that if a snake spends 100% of it's time in the warm end it is still trying to get warm, it may be that this is the exact right body temperature of the snake, who knows, it certainly does suggest that they are seeking additional warmth...

They sit under the heat at that tem 24/7 and only move to eat.
My diamonds were so much more active they cruised around constantly.
I would be checking the thermometer/s then.I still say it suggests temps arent warm enough. If you have a temp gun measure the snakes at various periods throughout a day or so.

does necessarily mean its not warm enough,it may be that its just right and they like it,
i have a snake who does this and its defiantly a suitable temp they just particulaly
like the heat
if the temprature gauge reads the right temp and there eating fine and breeding fine theres no probs

Maybe but how would you then know if it wanted to be even warmer given that it sitting in the warmest possible area?

Experiment a bit.Bump the temps up bit by bit until the snake decides to move to a cooler area.

You're behind the 8ball. I've taught my childreni to slither to me on command when on my bed and to tighten it's coils around someones arm when I say the attack word.

O_O
What do you expect from a python?
If you want something more exciting you need something that can kill you.
