Agree, stimos are great to handle. I predominatey deal with wild caught ones and even when picked up most are just curious, only a very few will bite

Yeah.. even as a hatchling mine was real easy to handle, unlike my hatchling coastal which is slowly settling in.

Our male stimmie was the first one to ever bite me. They were in pretty bad shape when we got them. I have no history on them but both are battle scarred (or shovel scarred) and his first shed wasn't pretty. He had the tail end still left on and he had crapped in it so while MOTH was holding him, I was spraying him with skin shed and wiping him down and he didn't like it much.
On one occasion, MOTH had one of them on his shoulders, out in the sun and a mate showed up. The mate only made it about 3 metres away from MOTH and the stimmie launched itself off MOTH trying to have a go at the mate. Sadly the friend was getting quite used to snakes but after that, he is a bit freaked out.

Stiffler, i only have one pair of the broome stimos. There is variation in the clutch, but not a huge amount.
Ad, are your stimos WA ones, if so what locality. They look like a sandy soiled pattern ( pale body, lots of definition with the blotches )
