i was told 1 thing when i got her, then i went and saw a reputable breeder with her who told me she looked like another......

im not gonna say just yet what i was told by the previous owner and what i was told by the breeder i saw.... just would like some peoples opinions on this......

if anyone can help that would be great!

cool, i was told by the previous owner who got her from pails for scales that she was a SA Flinders Ranges......

however i went to see jason at reptile city with her and he said she looked like an Alice Springs form.... he then showed me one of his flinders ranges stimmies and she looked nothing like it! so im guessing that jason was right.... and as you guys have said im thinking she is an NT stimmie of some sort

I always understood that in any particular area the colouration and pattern can change considerably regarding Stimsons.

It would be very dificult to tell. Stimmies have the largest home range of any other python in australia. Western australia all the way to west queensland, north west NSW, mid NT almost all of south australia.

she does not look like the ones from the kimberley or northern NT they seem to be alot darker i would go with the ones found around northern SA and southern NT. hope that made sense..

Hi Matt,
There aren't too many pure bred Flinders Ranges stimis around, but there's a chance that some passed through Roy's hands in the last couple of seasons. Ask Roy who he bought it from and I might be able to confirm its provenance. Here's a pic of one of mine for reference.
Matt
