I have a friend who has a female coastal that will be dropping eggs. I will be incubating the eggs for him. He lives about 30min away from me. What is the best way to get the eggs from his place to mine. I am concerned that If I just transport them unheated this will cause damage to the eggs. Should I transport the eggs with the female in a click-clack? Or should I transport the eggs in a click-clack with some sort of heating method? Or will the eggs be fine for this duration of time? I live in Darwin so the temp stays around the 32oC mark during the day anyway. Any other ideas that I haven't suggested?
Cheers,
Corey.

Pack them in an esky or something similar, something just large enough for the egg mass to fit into.Get some slightly moist spagnum moss and place this around the eggs to stop them moving and to keep the eggs hydrated.I would move them as soon as they are layed. No need to worry about heating.

As Ramsayi said no need to worry about any heating. Snake eggs are pretty hardy things and can go a few days with out any heat as a rule, without doing any harm to them.
Just make sure you keep the eggs the same way up as they are layed, DONOT tilt the eggs on their side or turn them unside down as this will kill them.

He also wants his kids to see it all happening. So I'm happy that he's using it as an education process......for him and the kids.
