Turned into the main st and there was this guy crossing the road! I almost ran him over!!
I jumped out to get pics but he was WAY too quick for me.
This was about 50 metres from the lagoon. He ended up in someone's yard in the opposite direction to the laggy.
Now I am assuming it is a water python because once he got behind the fence he lifted his head right up as if to see if I was still following and I could see his bright yellow underbelly.
I know...crap pics, but he was bloody quick! And it was right outside the cop station and I was parked illegally
I was soooo excited tho. |

Not worth risking the health of your snakes anyways, what if it had OPMV or something...
Awesome find but... |

I don't mean just so I can 'cuddle' it. I mean so I could have removed it from the persons yard and taken it across the road to the lagoon. Out of 'harms' way. |

no need to save it or move it.
it may not want to be at the lagoon??
that is its home territory, it probably knows it well.
only case for interfering is if it was in danger of being run over. |

Alot of them just assume it's a brown and kill it...... just in case. |
