Talking Lucifer eating Rabbit

Just thought I'd share some pics of Lucifer, my 4yr Proserpine Coastal, eating a rabbit. This snake is a slithering garbage disposal, he has never refused any of his food in the almost 3 yrs we've owned him, couldn't of asked for a better 1st snake.

He was coming up for a shed about the time those pics were taken and he looks very dark and dull, so I also included a normal photo of him.

Actually it was a pretty cute bunny before it became half ingested!
I used to pull it out the freezer when my Mum came over for a laugh, she'd get upset thinking that the cute little bunny was going to be fed to the snake.

Thanks, the biggest trouble will be finding one around the same size as him. Iv'e seen a male for sale on the herp trader, but no females. I guess I'll just keep looking.

Maybe he changed his mind and decided to hang on to him. I think it would be hard selling a reptile, I'd want to hang on to them all!!!
Thats what my husband is scared about when we start breeding our Jungles, he's scared that I won't want to let any of them go.

lol Dazza

why feed during the shed cycle? you should want until after the snake has shed then fed.
just my opinion dont get cranky!!
cheers Matt
