hi can u put a male and a female maccie in the same enclosure when they are a yearling
will they live together happily
and will they still mate when they are older

Yes to both, no worries.
Just remove the the male when the female is gravid! I've housed them like this plenty of times!
You can house even more together if you want.

yer they should be fine, although when housing several snakes together you must take into consideration that the enclosure will need to be larger. eg i think 3x2x2ft would be great if you can.
