Congrats, how long do you reckon they will take to hatch? What temp is the incubator?

Thanks ether! Probably about 52 days. They were at 30.7 +/- 0.1 degrees over the past 24 hours (suprisingly steady, even for old faithful), but I might crank it up by 0.5 degrees or so at some point.

Good luck Spring! Yours are green phase aren't they?

So the hotter you make the incubator the faster they will hatch? Is their a limit to this thouhg..like can it get too hot?

here's the rest of the clutch. I don't think these two are going to hatch. Anyone want to put them in their incubator?

Yep, absolutely. One year, due to a faulty thermometer, I had them really hot, hatched them in 39 days! The thermo was faulty so I don't know exactly what temperature they were at. I wouldn't take them over a mean temperature of 32 or 33 and would expect problems by 34 or so. Best hatch rates for maccies are probably at about 30-31, or so is my guess. You can also do maccy eggs quite cold, a friend of mine had 100% hatch rate at 27 degrees.

Sure is!! I think I have gillen's eggs on the way, or perhaps they were laid today (she was going nuts digging yesterday), but I didn't get a chance to check until the lights were out, so I'll have to wait until tomorrow to find out.

These eggs were such a suprise! I wasn't expecting them for at least another 2 weeks. She's never laid this early before.
