Did anyone else catch "world around us" tonite, Was great, The teeth on the rough scaled pythons are huge!!!!

yeah, just caught it as well. Pretty interesting.. I must say that I'd still prefer a GTP if I had the cash though.

JW reckons they are in the same grouping as the GTPs, he also believes there could be another species between the two that have not yet been discovered in some of the unchartered remote parts of top end Australia.

I missed it but there's a pic of their teeth compared to a carpet's in the issue of Reptiles Australia with part 2 of the artice about them. There's a huge difference, they think its because their main food source (some rat thingy) can drop chunks of its skin to get away.

Must of broke his heart to put it back. The ones at his park are awesome to see in the flesh though.

yep was pretty cool show
that threat display was something to see... I've never seen that before and wouldn't like to be tagged by those fangs thats for sure
I reckon there's a good chance those fangs could break off into your body parts if you got bitten..

Anyone here ever had the pleasure and priveledge of being munched on by a Roughie ???
