depends on how they have been raised, but daimonds can be sexually mature and mate at 2 1/2yr with the eggs hatching at 3yrs of age.

what about coastal carpets? mine is almost 3 years old and 1.5m long, she was small for her age when i got her at 2yrs, she was only a metre

isnt size more important? mine is 2 1/2 yrs but only 1.5m, is that big enough?

1.5 mtrs is ok for breeding, as rob said above, it depends a lot on feeding, i've bred my coastals at 1.5mtrs, some were 2 1/2 years old, the 2 this season were 1.5mtrs but 3 1/2 years old, the size is the first thing to look at, then the age.............
