I have had him 3 weeks now and he hasn't eaten yet. Turns his nose up when offered food. Before anyone asks his temp is 32 in the hot end 26 cool end. He is in a spare room with no foot traffic and is hardly disturbed. He explores his click clack every night after the sun goes down. Am going to try again this week as he has been hanging out in his hide with his head poking out, looks like he is waiting for a mouse to walk past!!!

The dimensions are (each section) 500mm wide x 600mm Tall x 400 deep. It is not going to be his final home in it current state. I will either build a bigger one or remove the middle petition.

it might be a bit small but depends how it's been fed, i wouldn't worry about it i'd just put him onto bigger meals.

He finally ate last night. Took a fuzzie after only 5 sec after opening his click clack. From the records I was givien when I picked him up he has only fed 6 times so I guess thats why he is so small. Will wait a week and try another fuzzie. Thanks for the help

my little girl hatched around the same time as yours (2nd Feb) and she is a bit over 90cms in length now although, she is due to shed any day sooo... She is a little piggy and has been getting fuzzie rats for quite a while now so that might account for it...

How long is he if i can ask?

Hi Our MD is about 10 months and heaps bigger... double check with Pails on the dates... Whatch the power feeding as it can lead to probs IMO and if the dates are wrong and it is younger it's not ness. Good luck with your new baby thay are greate snakes. Ours has just shed and looks fantastic.

Cheers
