I would have thought it would be bigger than that. My 22 Months old female is 1.8m and 2.2 kgs. I didn't think she'd be ready.

Anvil as i said i dont realy know it was just a guess but i know the male can be considerably smaller than the female and will still breed.

cheers,just worried becuase i have waited ages for my female and she is very big and i do not want her to eat him. though hes not exactly small himself. and i also dont want him fat and lose his libido either.

hey mate, ive got the recomended SVLfor breeding in one of the books at home, ill bring it over on the W/E. also may have the surgested mimimum lengths on the herptrader site.

My female MD weighed in at just over a kilo (1069grams) after egg deposition this year and the male was similar in size. They were 2 1/2 yrs old though. I got them as undersized yearlings and fed them up over 18 months. Produced 14 eggs, 13 hatched. Hatchy weight was around 18 grams with a few bigger and some smaller.

cheers everyone. my female is huge so there is no worries about her but the boy is pretty big about 150cm and i havnt weighted him yet. but hed easily be over a kilo.and cheers luke i'll see you on sunday.
