I had a big male diamond eat its mate of about the same size.
One of the saddest days of my herping life and it was a bright yellow one exactly like the one the olive ate???. I will never leave two snakes together again unless for mateing and then i would be watching it was a hard lesson to learn.
Please dont learn the hard way keep them snakes seperated.

You will face an even more expensive lesson if you don't.

i heard snakes eating other snakes in captivity most of the time only happens during feeding, when they bight on to the same food (rat) and the bigger of the two snakes will keep swallowing and eat the other snake thats latched to the rat.
it would be a BAD sight to see!

u were lucky that the big snake was an MD and the little one a bredli, cos if it was the other way around im sure the bredli would have eaten the MD (well mine would have)
