Hi All,

A quick question about my MD. I have had a few people say that he has unusal markings. What do you think? I have searched APS and it seems most Md's have banding not rings as mine. And arrrr..... NO he is not a hybrid!!!

Thanks.

I love that MD!! Yes the markings are unusual, they are fantastic. Love the simple colouring.

Hi Hsut77

That is an awesome MD, definately not a hybrid. MDs have a huge colour and pattern variation due to their large range, found all the way up into QLD. Yours is obviously a vic MD because of the grey and silver colours. Those 'donut' patterns are sort after markings......I'm even trying to breed them into my MDs, the one in my signature is one of my successes. Most of my other hatchies have banding.

Good luck with him....hope he breeds for you in the next few years.

Thanks for the feedback! Wow Bredli84 good memory! Yep this is the boy who would only feed every six weeks, slowly got the time frame smaller and he is on velevet rats evey 7 days now and growing like a weed! He is 70cm now.

Yes he is a Vic MD and one of the nicest I have seen. I have been looking for a girl for him for some time so I can breed in a few years off him. I was looking at your hatchies and would be interested in one with some 'donut' markings.
