brandon darwins are a great chioce for first snake imo. they are just like any other type of python you can get good ones & snappy ones, saying that ive got an adult pr male 7ft+ & the female is slighlty bigger now at 11 years old male is 7 yr old & both of them are as placid as. the female has done many school visits over the years with no worries of her biting anyone even with 10 kids swarming around with hands & arms waving in front of her eyes. and another big plus is that they are a beautiful looking python with a nice buffy head. one thing i dont under stand is why they are so cheap so if you do decide to get one i hope you will enjoy it as much as ive have over the past 11 years all the best with your decission brandon........ deano
