It was a nice night last night....finally the little fella munched down his first feed since we've had him....it was an awesome site to watch...he didnt hit it, we just placed it in his clickclack and he slowly cruised the scene before opening up and sliding it down like an oyster, my lady and I sat around like we were kids watching our first cartoon....such a pleasure to behold...he didnt constrict, so casual about it....do you think he will continue to eat this way? he is a very casual little fella, is this usually a sign of his personality or do you guys reckon he will grow to hit it hard....? cheers in advance

Some of them strike some don't, also depends on how hungry they are. I dare say your little fella will end up striking atleast a few times for you.

The first time i fed my coastal (when she was a hatchie) she just slithered up and opened her mouth but every time after that she flickers her tongue once or twice and bang, its hers.
Maybe its got to do with their age? i'm really not sure.
