My jungle's eyes were milky so I thought it was close to a shed, but today they're clear again - is this normal? |

Yes they go back to normal Can take anywhere up to two weeks inbetween

Your snake will probably be a bit narky, shouldn't be handled and will likely refuse to feed during this time...

My Atherton just shed last week and i didnt notice her eyes but she was a real cranky thing for a while and refused all food so i knew she was close.

yep, completely normal. The bigger the snake the longer it tends to take to shed after the milky eyes go back to clear. My 6-foot coastal had clear eyes for about five days and he hadn't eaten for 2 weeks, so I offered him a feed even though I knew he was close to shedding. He took it straight away, ate it, then began to shed immeadiately afterwards |
