I have a few, and I think a good choice. I really can't think of any specific "do or don'ts", they are fairly easy maintenance. All mine are good natured, one was a little snappy when young, but is very docile now. I think being handled on a regular basis made the difference.

I have 2 bredli, both are 8 months old.
They're currently in click clacks - Until their enclosures are finished.
I just have 2 hides and some branches in there for them - I have noticed that the Bredli love to climb (well my 2 do) and they're always in the branches.
Also, when they feed, the 3 bredli that we have pull the food from the ground, up over the side of the feeding container and eat upside down hanging from outside the click clack lol.

About to get my hatchling Bredli very soon. Just getting everything in order before he arrives. What size click clacks do you use? Have you upsized over time?

I got a couple of 7 litres. One for feeding.
I suppose he will still have some room to move for the first couple of months then will upsize.
What do you use for heating? Tape or mat?

I was using heat matts.
However they're in their enclosures in tubs (With Heat Emitters) controlled by thermostats. Until I get the rest of the items needed for finishing up their setups.

It appears Bredli's are the flavour of the month. I'm getting my first one tomorrow! Very excited.
I'm getting a female, and hope to breed her in time. Anybody recommend which sex you should get? Are females harder to get than males?

I have one about 9 months old he is in a 30 litre click clack, has been since the day i got him. he neva misses a feed(exept when shedding) he also loves to spend time in the branches. i would recomend them too anyone as a first snake mine is docile and placid, although i have met with one that was anything but. They are an awsome looking snake too. i use a heat mat under half the tub and have a hide in both hot and cold ends

George - Male bredli is placid and doesn't seem to mind coming out.
Martha - Female bredli is different, she's really flightly when coming out and moves realyl fast to try and get away for the first couple of minutes.
Haven't been bitten be either yet though.

Monty, justa few things Have you selected a breeder and Do you have plenty of food?
Next I get a pair of females for my kids XMAS 2 year ago. I also have a Maccie, IMO I think that Brebli are the best python to keep. I have not had any problems with thme and in fact they have even taken food just a few days befor going into a shed, when displayng no signs of one.
Chris Cool, I have 2 hides in my enc for my bredli , a high hide and low hide, I have found that both of them prefer to sit in their high hides. I got the idea for the high hide and our hatchies from the breeder shane_aussiepythons.
Shane counldn't have been anymore helpful. If I had questions or concerns he was just a call, no prob too big or too small.
Cheers
