how about a water python for a first snake.mine just loves me and shows me plenty of affection.heres a photo of her giving me a kiss.

Lots of generalisation going on here,most of which Im betting would be based on limited experience with only one or two animals.

ALL types of snakes will bite.Someone reckons BHPs dont bite.I know of some that try and kill you at every opportunity same goes for all the carpet species.

i got a stimsons as my first snake and she is the best i recomend them for a first snake

My most placid snake is my death adder..
But I recommened a childrens python or a murray darling as a first snake.
