165 for the Murray @50 for the freight and 20 for import permit (not sure about qld) = 235 for an unseen snake.
You would be much better off buying one locally for $250. You can handle it before you buy it and also get first hand advice.

Dobermanmick,
They(URS) don't charge you a export fee, and you won't have to pay a $20 import licence fee if you are in QLD.
He will I am sure send you photo's if you ask, but he is busy, so give him some time.
As you say $25 freight to major airports, which I think is a discounted price, and he bares the rest.
They are a site sponsor to, so all's good!

Yes that is a good price but as a beginner i am more inclined to pay the extra to see the snake and be able to ask questions and go back if needs be !
once i am more expierienced i will possably get a snake imported but for now local is the way to go .
I went and saw the Murrays today they all looked extremely healthy i had a hold of the mother and was shown the athertons as well .I let my heart decide and went for a murray and put a holding deposit on He?she? till my enclosure is ready and my licence comes in
The mother was a gorgeous python and did not look like biting at all
the hatchling i choose has fed 4 times and already shed so i shouldnt have any problems with it feeding It is being fed pinky rats
I love My Murray

I'm looking at getting a MD for my man very shortly. Neil Sonnemann has recommended them for being very docile and easy to handle. Not looking into breeding at all yet. Can get one from Tim M at UR. for $165. Sounds a good price to me . Cheers Cheryl
