My babies went to the vet today.

Well I took my Stimson’s to the vet today for a check up and injections for parasites.

The snakes were not tested for parasites as the vet thought it’s just best to do the injections anyway just to be safe as I fed them 6 weeks ago garden skinks because they would not eat pinkies.

I thought it would cost a lot of money like cats and dogs but it was only $37.75 for the pair.

So they are nice and happy back at home in their enclosures. In 2 weeks time they go back again for their follow up injections and another checked up.

The vet said they are very healthy but my female is a bit under weight due to not feeding until a few weeks ago.

For piece of mind get your herps checked by a vet every now and then.
