Hey u guys,
I know i told u i got a hatchy Blond mac, and i did, but...
long -story- short
i now got a sweet lil coastal carpet juvie, just yesterday in fact! He about 50-60cm long...u know how hard it is 2 exactly measure a snakie!!
Not sure on sex, but I've called it Rasta...and its the sweetest snake eva...doesnt bite at all (hasnt bit me once!) and he luvs exploring his enclosure esp climbing and sleepin on the branches.
havent fed him yet, will do so 2morow, hope he eats, but i been told hes a good feeder (as are most carpets lol)
AND dont worry, I'm prepared for a BIG python, much 2 the detriment of my family
PICS OF COASTY COMIN SOON
...and just so i dont dissapoint u guys, iv added sum pics of my past blond mac "Blondie", who i no longer hav (don't ask, long story)
Anyways i just got one question:
He seems to like rubbing his head (front part and sides) along the branches i got in his enclosure and according to the person i got it off, he's not due for a shed anyways cos he just shed...anyone know why he's doin this??
Thanks,
luv rockchikky

PRC1, my diamond had them (mites), I first saw them in her hide box, they were tiny, almost like dust. On closer inspection I could see them in her water bowl and in the scales around her neck.
Maybe you should spray the python (and cage and all the stuff in it) anyway, just in case. If it has them you will see the little suckers falling off.

hey guys...just gav Rasta 2 lil fuzzies...he was starving!!! took them no probs...got a few pics of him eating and aso holding him and sum in his enclosure ...will post these as soon as they developed..probley a few days time lol
its just sooo sweet how he seems to know the difference b/w human fingers and food...i could wiggle my finger near his mouth and nuthin, not even a snap...even if i were to pick him up from his enclosure, but as soon as i wiggle a fuzzy with the tongs...chow time...though i gotta say he's the most "gentlelest (i know, not a word ) snapper" i ever seen...he just quietly and gently takes the food off ya...such a sweetheart esp for a juvie
