Talking My Coastals just shed - Here's the sheds - Show us your big coastals!!

Three of my coastals all shed within a few days of each other and all sheds were in such nice condition that I thought I'd lay them out and compare them... oh how they have grown. I had two of them since hatchlings (the biggest skin and the smallest skin) and now look at them!

Now I haven't been in keeping reptiles for that long (4 years) so to watch these snakes grow so much in what seems like such little time it still amazes me somewhat. From something I could hold with a few fingers and that could sit in the palm of my hand comfortably to something that's (length) is one and a half times my height and most probably stronger than I could EVER be.

If anyone else would like to post some pics of their own big coastals please feel free to. The bigger the better. So please post pics and please include measurements if possible.

And please, no 'ugy coastal' comments or 'feed it to the ____' comments or anything along those lines. Thank you

Last year Jan 5th the largest of the three sheds belonged to my male coastal who was 212cm. And that is now over a year ago. One day I will get around to measuring them again... One day.

This is the pic that was used to measure him with.

Anyone else wanna post any pics of their big carpets?

very very nice. The reason i love coastals in the fact they get big and also have nice patterns unlike olives.

I love the size they get too. I have seen some huge coastals and just loved them.

I used to have a scrubby but then figured that it'd be a bit too much for me to handle when it grows up so I sold it. I also live alone and cant imagine how I'd deal with when its full grown n if it had a typical scrubby temperament... that'd amost be suicide.

But these coastals are so nice tempered so they dont worry me too much being the size they are now and they are big softies so I cant wait for them to get bigger.

They are all about 4 years old. Never bred with them yet. Hoping to this breed them this year and I'm planning to try maternal incubation. I think they will be fully capable of looking after their own eggs. I have been planning for years what I'm gonna do with these guys.

Nice snakes and nice pictures there. I love seeing how big these snakes get. I'm sure there has got to be heaps of others with some huge carpets so please put up some pics.

Well for Kristy86 this is where mine are currently living.
