You certainly have yourself a nice example there. I'd be proud of her!!

The guy that we purchase all our reptiles from found her at a show that he went to and purchased her. He had her in his "for sale" room and priced, but didn't think that anyone would buy her. I let her sit there for about a month secretly hoping that no one would get her so that I could save up and read up about them! She got a terrible mouth infection about 4 weeks ago right after I told them I wanted her, and I put money down on her. I was really worried she wouldn't pull through it. To top it off she was going through shed, hadn't eaten.... I think I posted a thread on it when she was sick, and you guys told me to get my money back!! haha
They nursed her back to health, and I'm glad I didn't give up on her like I thought I should. She is in perfect health, and is eating great. I am really glad that I found this breed of snakes!
And the funny thing is, the guy that my seller bought her from said that it was an aggressive breed??? I find that crazy! My male has never struck (says the previous owners) And their 12 year old daughter held her all the time, and she doesn't show any signs of aggression. What do you guys think about that?? |

| | Regular Member | | | | | as a general rule womas and black heads are meant to be pretty docile, just as a general rule jungles are supposed to be very agressive.....
there are always ALWAYS esceptions to any general rule, i always opt to handle the animal and judge it for myself! |

Id have paid $900 in a heatbeat for a snake like that. Heck I'd pay double that over here in Aus. Cant help with the locality, but someone in APS should be able to help. Thanks for sharing the pics. | | | |
