I've got a maccie and her name is Sassi cause when we got her she was very fiesty and spirited.. although she's now just mummy's little girl haha!! We're getting her a boyfriend on the weekend & we're calling him Chokko as in chocolate because of their colourings!!
Congrats she is a gorgeous little maccie!!!

LOL. I don't think there's a right or wrong. Most people find that it is easier to feed and maintain temps in smaller click-clacks but IMO as long as the snake has the right temps etc in the larger enclosure what is the problem? Snakes have alot of space to work with in the wild.

Well yeah, thats what i thought. but so many people have said that they would stress if in a large enclosure. My current set up looks like it would be easier to have cool and warm spots in the larger space.

Nah I have my maccie in a 2foot tank and she loves it!!! How natural is it for a snake to be in a click clack? We have made her tank as natuarl as possible, we moniter the temp constantly and she is the most well adjusted, HAPPY, content little 4mth old maccie!!! She has been in this tank since she was 6 weeks old!!!
I know people will probably flame me for doing this but IMO a small lunch box isn't how a snake should be kept (for too long anyway). We brought her home in her click clack from the pet shop, which mind you was a small little fish tank type click clack, we then kept her in there for a day or so and then introduced her to her new home! She was VERY happy with the change! Sassi loves her tree most of all and will spend hours and hours just going up & down... not to mention her small swimming pool sized dish that she often gets in and has a dip (NO MITES)!

We also just purchased 2 Juvie Jungles and they spent a day in their click clack but then went into their new homes too. They spent the first 2 days in their box (cause the male was shedding anyway) but the last 2 days they've done nothing but cruise around and check out their tree's, water dish etc! And the male who shed yesturday spent the night asleep in his tree!!! Quite content and settled in!

It's up to the individual but as I said we constantly monitor all their temps etc and so far it's worked for us!

Right, i'm off to furnish the enclosure. my babies roam around trying to get out all night too, so off i go! ps sorry to hijack, but is it ok to put both my babies - brother and sister, same size, in the one enclosure? Blonde macs by the way.
