My new Antaresia family member

Hi there,

here´s my new family member, Henry:

He´s two years old and ca. 85cm long.

Now, one problem I should have with him...
Is he maculosa, childreni or mixed?

What you think?

Cheers

Michael

Looks like a childreni to me. Hard to tell if it is a pure or not. I had the same question with mine and it seems fairly impossible to get a definitive answer. All the ones i have seen that are supposed to be pure childreni had a fairly distinct line running down the sides for approx the first third of their body. Can't really tell if it is evident on your snake, or if that is even a "true" indication of a childreni or not, i am by no means an expert, i do know however that macs do not have that line down them and their markings/spots are alot bolder in appearance. Maybe someone with more experience could clarify that. Just my 2 cents worth.

Either way, nice snake and i love that second photo, looks very evil.

Hi,

thx a lot.

He looks like my 13 years old female A. childreni.

And yes, his looking is very evil, but the character of him is very peacefully.

Cheers

Michael
