Hi Celeste
Did you get to see the parents of that 'hypo' carpet? I hope for that price the parents were true hypo's because 99.99% of hatchling carpets that look like that basically turn out the same as any normal coastal carpet. There have been plenty of threads on here before about 'hypo' carpets where people have been sold these carpets as something special by breders who know full well they turn into a standard run of the mill carpet python. For all the hundreds of these babies that have been sold as 'hypo' carpets over the years I'm yet to see one that has retained it's juvinile colouration. True Blue is about the only person I've ever seen produce pictures of an adult or sub adult carpet that you could call hypomelanistic.
I'm not trying to rain on your parade Celeste but urge you to do the homework if you are thinking of purchasing another one of these carpets.

A diamond whose locality type is from around Gosford.

In theory this means that the animals was descended from animals originally collected from this location.

My understanding is that Gosford diamonds have high yellow patterning.

Cool re My

Thats right herp trader if a diamond has high yellow its gosford type which is a good way of doing things,if you put the reall locations it would get too confusing LOL reall gosford diamonds have stripesYes splitmore about the onley reall hypo carpets are those trueblue line breeds, others are a way of making a quick buck and many people are misled, high yellow diamonds are found in many different areas of the distribution including south coast NSW and blue mountains as well as central coast.
