I got my spotted when he was 10 months old and he seemed tiny. I would post a pic but its still hard to comprehend the size. How long is Jasper?

Congratulations on getting a new snake, the enclosure looks nice

Not very large at all, I remember when I got my stimson python she was a month old and about the length of a pencil, his size will all depend on how large his food is and how often he is fed.

Do you have him in a click clack at the moment? I would suggest when you put him into the enclosure to put newspaper folded or something between the gaps in the glass.

he is only wbout 15-18cm, most of the others i have seen seem bigger than this, maybe it's just my imagination! he was in a click clack in his enclosure but he managed to escape, so now he is free in his enclosure (i figured if he let himself out he is ready). doesnt seem stressed at all and he is constantly exploring, the only problem i found was that he DID EASILY fit in between the glass so i have blocked that off.
thanks for the feedback guys!

Yeah, even my 12 month old python can fit through the glass on the enclosure, so make sure that you have atleast newspaper that is folded over and really thick and fully wedged into the gap.

nice looking mac you got there, possably a little small mine is only about 3 months old and he's nearly 30cm and growing strong, once he's a little bigger getting 25cm he won't be able to fit between the glass mine has tried many a time and never gotten through.

Hi Critta,
His size depends on how quickly he started feeding after he hatched, how big and how often his meals have been since then.
Spotteds are are very small snake and he is only 3 to 4 months old as you said. I wouldnt be to worried, he will grow in time.
Jasper is a looker .
