yeah, there was originally a cat in there but not anymore! LOL!
i screwed a nice big flat square of wood on the top of pole, use it as a platform for him to sit under basking lights on roof.
also gets a bit of excercise too!

aviary

pics of aviary, bought in flat pack form from mitre 10. slapped it together with just a pop rivit gun and a screw driver. coudnt put out the back yard on a slab, cause i live in a rental so a just put on a flat bit of paving.
3m long, dose the trick.

put some slats across the roof there, and he sits up there most of the time watching over his domain! gets plenty of exercise! loves it!

want to paint a background on all the walls. just one problem, cant draw! im like a kid with a crayon, smudging crap everywhere!

How does he fair in winter in an outdoor enclosure? Do you keep the heat on? Just wondering as eventually I'd like to keep my bredli outside in a similar setup and being that tsv doesn't get extremely cold I've wondered if this would be ok?

he goes well.
i only put the globes in a month ago. but im only going to use em in the colder months now.
he stop eating for about 4 months over the cooler period. but thats was expected. it gives em a the natural cooling period that they get in the wild.
i reckon he is randy as ever, cause when breeding time came he was very active looking for a female!

i use to have my coastal outdoors too, and he was the same.

Always wanted a scrubby but not sure if I could handle one. I've been macho on other threads saying snakes don't hurt too much when they bite.. I think I might have to give that comment a bit of thought now. She's definitely a beauty..
