help my snake still wont eat i have done everything suggested but he still wont eat.
its been nearly 3 weeks since he has eaten anything.
i brought him 2 weeks ago and where i got him from said he hadnt eaten in a week.
i took him to a snake specialist who has said there is no health issues and that he is a costal not victorian.
his a costal thats approx 50cm
it was suggested to turn his heat up to 28 so i have tried that and it didnt help i have also tried making the fuzzy look alive also didnt work.
i put him in a click clack thing but specialist said to move him back up to the 2 ft enclousre
i have also put cages around all the lights and changed his light to the infra red globe.
any body have any more tips?
oh and it was suggested using mouse maker whats ur opinion?

Have a look through past posts on the subject.
Most likely the problem is temp related.Offer a 32C hot spot 24/7.You also need to make sure that the cooler side temps aren't dropping too low,at least 25C day and night.

After you have offered the pinkie have you tried leaving it in the enclosure?
A couple of my snakes eat this way, they like to dine in private!

yeah just leave it in the container for a good hour near the hot spot to keep it warm, also turn out all the lights and wait. if its anything like my jungle it wont even go near it till its dark (he is very nocturnal).

As all the above has said, he may be stressed, or just a bit shy. It is in the colder months so somtimes there appities get a liitle less. I would suggest to just keep a good eye on it, and leave food for it all the time.

One of my Woma's was refusing feeds recently. Went about 9 weeks without anything. Just ate a couple of rats. I wouldn't be too concerned just yet.

if it is 50 cms long i would try something a little larger maybe a rat fuzzy or pinkie rat depending on size, try different things if the same thing is not working. Get temps up a bit hotter. plenty of APPROPRIATE sized hide boxes. the most important thing is observation. where is it spending most of its time? what are the temps in that area etc

have you tried braining the feed (driving a pin through its skull) the brain fluid is appealing to them.

As RanchHand suggested, maybe try something a big larger and with fur, maybe a fuzzy mouse?
