Hey,
Yesterday i bought 2 N.T stimson's pythons (male and a female) from an aps user. As im fairly new to keeping reptiles can you please leave me comments and ideas for my enclosures and i would love some comments on my new pets. Their names are Romeo and Juliet. In the future i would love to be able to breed them but, thats a while of yet as there only 9 months old.
At the moment theyre in separate click clacks (20l storage containers) sitting in a 900x600x600 enclosure with a uv light and heat lamp controlled by a thermo on a 24hr timer. The timer is set to turn the lights on at 8am and turn the lights off at 7pm.
I will post pics of Romeo and Juliet, the click clacks ive set up for them and the enclosure there sitting in asap.
Layzboy.

Maybe you should turn the click clacks the other way, that way one end of each click would be facing your heat lamp, giving your hatchies a temp gradient. At the moment the middle one would be heaps warmer than the one furthest away.

Only one will be in there after this week as the other one will be on a heat mat with a thermo outside of the enclosure.

How hot is it in the tubs ??
that would be my first concern , not good leaving them there like that if they are to hot or to cold .... get a couple of cheap thermometers and keep an eye on both of the tubs temps.
I think the idea is fine as long as they are getting the correct heat .
