You read this thread and you contributed ???????????????????????
| I must say though of all the things i have said in regards to keeping elapids when you aren't in the best of health, this is all you had to say about what i have written. I think personally that it would have been much more beneficial and educational for people looking into keeping elapids if you had have quoted me and commented on one of my staements about considering your state of health before getting into elapids... eg. was it something you took into consideration before buying an elapid? looking back on it do you think it's something you have given more consideration?
Cheers,
Ishka

From what i know jozz isn't in your situation so there for wasn't able to answer any of the questions you quoted above and wasn't able to speak of your experience and considerations.
Although i believe Jozz made some valid points i don't think he/she was in a position to talk about what consideration you personally had made.
Cheers,
Ish

My rule of thumb is this: It's always easier to ask for forgiveness than beg for permission
Personally I think you should rest on it for awhile, red bellies are beautiful snakes, yours will also undoubtedly settle down more as an adult considering the interaction you have with it. Ssssnakeman is right, I know a few keepers who have had that one accident (some nasty ones actually) and are all the wiser for it (and they still keep plenty of Vens). Your biggest problem was sticking it out without antivenin. That I would imagine was a pretty tough gig to have to go through (and perhaps a little unnecessary) Again, good luck |
