New Arrival

Here's my new Aussie Water Python. I'm not sure on the sex though. Not the best photo, my batteries were dying.

Awesome snake Kevyn, nice and glossy. Whats her temperament like? I hear water pythons are a little snappy.

Nice snake. They often calm down if they are kept well feed.

That's cool if it doesn't calm down. I love spirited snakes. You should have seen all the fun I had with the Afrock today.

I'm told she's only eating live. I'll have to work to get her switched.

About 3-4ft. I've found that offering fresh killed, or warmed f/t works pretty well. Some pythons can't resist the scent of chicken. Once it settles in I'll start trying. Sometimes they just need to get good and hungry too.

I've been told that my new WP will eat chicken drum sticks. He is preshed at the moment and not eating. Expect photos in the near future

Fuscus, do you find that your water's need a bit more humidity than others?

They look a lot better with some humidity. Every few days I spray all my cages and raise the humidity to max for a couple of hours. Trouble is I use BC and I haven't been able to maintain contanst high humdity.
