Ever tried using a hide box with some sphagnum moss in it?

I've used containers of spag moss at the hot end. Once the snakes got big enought they scattered it around the cage. They love rubbing thier faces in it.

We found the same thing with BC so the enclosures with bc in it have huge waterbowls located near the heat lamp end.

Just to be the fly in the ointment Kevyn. I am just wondering how they authenticate its lineage.
Whats the difference pricewise to L. macklotti. Can they be distinguished from each other. Just curious and not trying to downgrade your great new acquistition.

Macklots don't even look the same. They look alittle more like Timor Pythons.

Depends where they come from. Macklots in PNG and West Papua are very similar to Liasis fuscus.

The Macklots over here anyway don't look a thing like Waters.

Here's an example of the Macklots available here.

Kluge would be the first I've heard to list them as the same species. I would think that is a definate taxonomical mistake.

Not put out at all. It seems we were both misunderstanding each other. My appologies for not being clearer.

Me too! I apologise. Its just something that I had been wondering about for a while. I dont have a lot of lit on OS species and had assumed that they would be very similar in appearance. I have to say though that the macklots doesnt look that hot. I did see a pic of a Timor once but cant really remember it.
