New Carpet

Just thought I'd post pics of my new boy,

He's nothing overly special but he was a Sydney WIRES rescue therefor couldn't be released

They rescue a few, as they aren't native get held for 7 days incase someone claims it.

Then gets handed to a reptile society for distribution.

do u get to keep them if they arint claimed or cant be released or do zoo get them

All animals that cannot be returned to the wild get handed into a herp society, they have a list of financial members who they distribute animals to.

No these are simply animals that cannot be released into the wild.

Injured animals are general held by wires until they are capable of release.

Condition of them being brought into captivity, is they aren't native to the area, and they cannot be released within a certain distance of where they were caught (I think its 5km's)

nsw western sydney but it wood take a long time before i cud go out rescue them and take care of them i wood think

You don't rescue them brenttin, Wires rescues them and then hands them to the reptile society.

Rescuers arent' allowed to keep what they rescue.
