New Jungles!

Just got this pair from Hartley Creek Queensland(julatten) from what I
am led to believe. Male is sort of stiped and about 6ft female about 5ft.

They have spent there whole life together and share a enclousure which
I am told they prefer.

Anyway if anyone can confirm or has info on this locality please feel free to
post.

I'm not a expert by any means and no offence but they really look like athertons (mine look exactly the same) and i didnt think Julateen's got to 6ft I thought only athertons did?. Sorry I could be so wrong. Arn't Julateen's more of a white and black or greyish colour and black?

Allana, to my knowledge Julattens look quite similar to Athertons...

Not all Julatten's are black/white, in fact I believe very few are...particularly quality animals of black/white...from what I understand there is an amazing variety of colouration and markings in Julatten Jungles...

Yeah I realise not all julatten's are pure black and white and that some have a slight yellow and others are white black and yellow and a few other colours, I worded it a bit wrong sorry lol. I was just trying to say that I didn't think Julatten's look like that but like I said I am no expert when it comes to jungles so proberbly completly wrong all the Julatten's I've seen have been stunners so I just thought that was basically how they look, so what are these snakes then if there not Julatten's?

"All the Julatten's I've seen have been stunners so I just thought that was basically how they look"

Thats like saying all athertons are dull and boring so thats how they look???
Doesn't bother me if they are but would like someone who knows jungles to
add their 2 cents.

Viridis, My wording was poor as they where purchased for hartley creek, but I was told be the
owner that they where julatten, I was unsure so any opinion welcome, if you are knowledable
in this area...

The guy I bought them of said that they have shared an enclosure since they where juvies and that
he seperated them once and they became lifeless so he put them back together and they regained
their perkyness?

I think they look like awesome jungles to me and definately not Athertons. In my opinion Athertons arnt even real jungles. Many carpets could be classified as Athertons..

Just curious Turtle , how many different variety's of jungles have you ever seen that you know what location they are from ??? Since you have stated that ' Athertons arn't even real jungles ' , i must assume that you are an expert in jungles and have had lots of experience in them ? Most people would not even know what there jungles are because the gene's are so mixed up now . If you are right , maybe you should right a book , just to infrom the rest of us with your AMAZING knowledge ? LOL
